15 inch capacitive touch frame, capacitive touch overlay, touch screen

Capacitive touch screens applied to TFT (Thin Film Transistor) or OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) displays offer higher clarity than resistive methods and are not affected by outside elements. The capacitive touch screen panel is coated with a thin material that stores electrical charges like a capacitor. There are two layers of glass, each coated with Indium Tin Oxide (ITO). When this surface is touched, a small charge is drawn to the point of contact. Circuits located in the corners relay this information to the controller for processing.

Advantages: Made of glass instead of plastic, providing brighter and sharper display quality. Highly touch sensitive, doesn't require a stylus, and supports multi-touch functionality.

Limitations: Must be touched by a human finger or capacitive stylus (relies on the capacitive nature of the human body). Other considerations include complex structure, higher cost, and reduced durability (glass breaks more easily than plastic).
